NEW DELHI: A viral video from India’s capital has captured a violent altercation inside a crowded Delhi Metro coach, turning an ordinary train ride into a chaotic scene now described by social media users as a “wrestling arena.”

The 23-second clip, filmed by a fellow passenger and shared by an account named *Ghar Ke Kalesh* on platform X (formerly Twitter), shows two men exchanging punches and kicks after a heated argument. One of the men is seen falling near the train’s gate, shouting at the other to stop using abusive language as fellow passengers attempt to separate them.

Reports suggest the coach was nearly full when the fight broke out. The video has since amassed over 250,000 views and hundreds of comments. While some viewers expressed concern over the growing number of such incidents in Delhi Metro, others responded with humour.

“A very normal day in Delhi Metro,” one user wrote sarcastically, while another commented, “Something extraordinary happens there every day.” Others lamented the behaviour, saying it reflected a “decline in basic civility and humanity.”

The incident has reignited debate over passenger conduct and safety in public transport. Just two months earlier, another viral video showed two women fighting over a seat in the Delhi Metro, pulling hair and trading slaps before commuters intervened.

With such clips surfacing frequently, the Delhi Metro is fast earning a reputation not just as a transportation hub but as an unexpected stage for public confrontations.
