The official notification, approved by the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Home Department, restricts residents from leaving their homes or moving on the roads during the curfew period. Authorities have warned that any violations of the restrictions will be dealt with strictly, and violators will be held responsible for any resulting incidents.

The curfew affects several areas, including Malangi, Suprayi, Dwaogai, Meena Suleman Khel, Khworchai, Chamyar Jor, Zagai, Gat, Agra, Ghandai, Zari, Nakhtar, Mula Killi, Bakro, Gowati, Chamyalon, Larkalan, Barkalan, Ghanam Shah, Chotra, Damadola, Sultan Baig, Inam Khworo, and Naga.

In a related development, the Pakistan Army has initiated emergency construction work on the Jarr Bridge, which was washed away by recent floods, cutting off Bajaur’s road connection with Dir district.
