Rain began in Gulshan-e-Maymar, Ahsanabad and Gulshan-e-Hadeed before spreading to Orangi Town, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, North Karachi, University Road, NIPA, Saddar, Clifton, DHA, Kala Pul, Akhtar Colony, Qayyumabad and adjoining areas. As per official figures, Gulshan-e-Hadeed received the highest rainfall on Thursday at 18mm, followed by 7mm each in Surjani and North Karachi, 4mm at Masroor Base, 3.4mm in Gulshan-e-Maymar, 2.6mm at Old Airport, 1.1mm in Saadi Town and 1mm on University Road.
