Washington: US President Donald Trump has said that establishing complete peace in Gaza would be an “amazing achievement”.

In an interview with the US media, Trump described the Middle East conflict as a problem that is thousands of years old and said that it seems that this problem can be solved after about 3,000 years.

Trump said that our goal is not only peace in Gaza but also to establish complete peace in the entire region, and if this is possible, it will be a historic achievement.

White House spokeswoman Caroline Lute said that President Trump will draw a “red line” for Hamas’s response to the Gaza peace plan. According to her, it is hoped and expected that Hamas will accept the plan so that lasting peace can be established in the region.
