The ban comes in response to growing complaints about noise pollution and public safety as the use of loud air horns and firecrackers has increased in recent years.
Young people, particularly motorcyclists, have been sounding high-decibel horns in residential areas and on busy roads.
The resulting disturbances have drawn complaints from residents and caused disruption, particularly for pedestrians, children, and the elderly.
In some cases, the sudden noise has led to near-miss traffic incidents as drivers were caught off guard.
The administration has urged the public to celebrate the occasion responsibly and adhere to the ban in order to maintain a safe and peaceful environment during the national celebrations.
