Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif began his speech at the United Nations General Assembly with a verse from the Quran and expressed solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians.
Referring to the Bunyan Marsus operation, the Prime Minister said that India gave a decisive response that will always be remembered in history.
He added that the armed forces under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir demonstrated unparalleled courage and bravery.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that India violated international laws by attacking civilian areas and targeting innocent civilians.
Taking a categorical stance, Shehbaz Sharif said that India violated the integrity of the borders and national security.
The Prime Minister further said that on this occasion, Pakistan exercised its right to self-defense under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.
Paying tribute to the Pakistan Air Force, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the Shaheens under the leadership of Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar subdued the enemy with their skill.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the Pakistan Air Force reduced 7 Indian aircraft to rubble. On which the General Assembly hall echoed with slogans of Pakistan Zindabad.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while saluting and appreciating the heirs of the great heroes of Pakistan, said that the names of our martyrs will always live with honor and dignity, the courage of the mothers of the martyrs illuminates our path.
Thanking President Trump and recommending the Nobel Prize
Thanking the US President, the Prime Minister said that President Trump intervened in time and brought about a ceasefire.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif further said that Pakistan has also recommended the Nobel Prize for this role of US President Trump for peace.
Ready for fruitful talks with India despite superiority in power
Shahbaz Sharif said that Indian aggression is like a lead wall against the nation. Despite superiority in power, Pakistan has shown its willingness to cease fire.
He said that our foreign policy is based on peaceful coexistence guided by the vision of the Father of the Nation. We believe in peaceful resolution of disputes through dialogue and diplomacy.
Reiterating Pakistan’s peace-loving stance, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan is ready for comprehensive and fruitful negotiations with India on all outstanding issues.
The deteriorating situation in Gaza is a stain on the global conscience
Condemning the Israeli aggression in Gaza, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the situation in Gaza is a stain on the global conscience and a collective moral failure.
He added that the plight of the Palestinian people is one of the heartbreaking tragedies of our time. Israel’s inhumane atrocities have imposed unspeakable fear on women and children.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif added that the Palestinian people have been defending their homeland for 8 decades. Illegal Jewish settlers in the West Bank are spreading terrorism, with each passing day bringing a new barbarity.
Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan is among the first countries to recognize Palestine as a state. They want an independent state within the pre-1967 borders.
Condemning Israel’s aggression on Gaza, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif called the Israeli attack on Doha a threat to Qatar’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Blunt stance on occupied Kashmir
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that Kashmiris will definitely get their right to self-determination through a free referendum.
He added that the day is not far when the era of Indian oppression will end and Kashmiris will get their right.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the Jammu and Kashmir dispute is a dangerous flashpoint between two nuclear powers.
India’s water terrorism rejected
Shehbaz Sharif said that India has violated international laws by suspending the Indus Water Treaty. Water is the lifeline of 240 million people of Pakistan. They know how to defend their rights.
Wants a peaceful Afghanistan
He expressed reservations over the shelter, help and cooperation from Afghanistan to the BLA and Majeed Brigade, who are the perpetrators of Fitna-ul-Hinduistan and are destroying peace in Balochistan.
