The federal government has significantly increased the price of petrol.

Islamabad: The federal government has announced a change in the prices of petroleum products and a major increase of Rs 4.7 per liter in the price of petrol.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 4.7 per liter and the price of petrol per liter has been increased from Rs 264.61 to Rs 268.68 per liter.

The price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs 4.4 per liter, after which the price of high-speed diesel has increased to Rs 276.81 per liter, which was Rs 272.77 per liter.

The increase in the prices of petroleum products by the Ministry of Finance will be implemented from October 1 and will remain in effect for the next 15 days.
