DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif has said that the army has no interest in taking the lives of innocent people in the name of terrorism. If a citizen shelters terrorists or keeps explosives in his house, he will have to face the consequences.

DG ISPR held a special session with students in the ongoing internship program organized by ISPR. During the session, there was a lively discussion regarding Pakistan, especially Balochistan.

DG ISPR also gave detailed answers to the questions of students from Balochistan.

On the demand for a major operation against terrorism in Balochistan, DG ISPR said, “It is put in our minds that something is growing for Pakistan among the people and youth of Balochistan. The people of Balochistan understand the relationship between Pakistan and the province very well.”

DG ISPR said that Major Muhammad Anwar Kakar Shaheed was our very brilliant officer and a great son of this land. Major Muhammad Anwar Kakar had earlier killed many terrorists in the PC Hotel Gwadar attack. Every day, military officers, soldiers and civilians are sacrificing themselves to keep Pakistan free.

He said that an operation in any area is successful when the people themselves identify the terrorists. It is not like the army vacates an area and conducts an operation. When the army leaves, the terrorists will come back. We have to do everything with great understanding, that is why it is called an intelligence-based operation.

DG ISPR said that the army has no interest in taking the lives of innocent people in the name of terrorism. If any citizen shelters terrorists or keeps explosives in his house, he will have to face the consequences. We have to work together with the people and administration of Balochistan.

He said that the terrorists, their facilitators and planners also have to be brought to the fore. The entire region or village cannot be punished for the terrorism of one person. The people there have to stand up against terrorism and are doing so. The people of Balochistan are now saying that there are terrorists here and this is their facilitator.

The DG ISPR said that the people of Balochistan are also now helpless and fed up with these terrorists. You should go to Balochistan and see how intelligent and far-sighted the Baloch people are. Hundreds of examples have come to light. Baloch children who have studied have become the masters of their region and their destiny.

He said that Samad Yar Jang, a famous scientist from Balochistan, is a graduate of Balochistan’s Buleda School from Cambridge University. Shahzeb Rind also belongs to Balochistan and is the master of his destiny today. Balochistan girls are currently appointed as Deputy Commissioners in the districts. Pakistan was established on the basis of the word, leaving aside all linguistic and regional things.

He said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) had said that no non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab, no Arab has any superiority over a non-Arab, no white has any superiority over a black, and no black has any superiority over a white. Balochistan has a population of 15 million, 50 percent of whom do not live in Balochistan but in other parts of Pakistan. Not all Baloch live in Balochistan, more than 30 percent of whom are Pashtuns.

DG ISPR said that more Baloch live in Sindh and southern Punjab than the Baloch living in Balochistan. The meaning of Pakistan is La ilaha illallah, it has become ingrained in you because Pakistan was formed on the basis of the word
