Teachers are the builders of the nation and a source of pride, said Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, in his message on World Teachers’ Day.

He paid tribute to their invaluable services, stressing that the foundation of education lies in hardworking and dedicated teachers who have always fulfilled their responsibilities, even in challenging times.

Highlighting the theme of World Teachers’ Day 2025, “Repositioning teaching as a collaborative profession”, the CM said it is a reminder that strengthening mutual cooperation among teachers is essential for improving education standards.

Murad described teachers as the backbone of Sindh’s education system. He emphasised that teaching is not just a service but a mission that strengthens both the quality and structure of education.

He further said “Cooperation, exchange of experience, and shared responsibility form the foundation of quality education.”

Minister for Universities and Educational Boards Muhammad Ismail Rahu on the occasion, paid tribute to the services of teachers, recognising them as the foundation of a strong society.

A ceremony was organised by the All Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association at Bahria Auditorium, Karsaz, in honour of World Teachers’ Day and students who achieved top positions in examinations.

Over 100 high-achieving students were awarded honors, and shields were presented to teachers.
