State Bank releases annual financial statements

Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan has released its annual financial statements for the financial year 2024-25.

The annual financial statements for the financial year 2025 issued by the central bank are accompanied by the auditors’ report.

Similarly, in compliance with Section 40(3) of the State Bank Act, 1956, the said financial statements and auditors’ report have also been sent to the federal government and the parliament.

According to the State Bank, the State Bank earned a net profit of Rs 2,500 billion during the financial year.

The announcement said that after appropriation under the legal requirements and accounting framework, surplus profit of Rs 2,428 billion has been transferred to the federal government.
