Pakistan and Sri Lanka will face each other today in the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup.
It is worth mentioning here that both the teams will play a T20 match for the first time after the 2022 Asia Cup final.
In the Asia Cup 2022, Pakistan and Sri Lanka faced each other in the Super Four match and the final in Dubai, and the Sri Lankan team was the winner in both matches.
Earlier, Pakistan faced a whitewash in a home series consisting of three T20 matches in 2019.
Unlike five consecutive defeats in the last six years, Pakistan has had an edge over Sri Lanka in the UAE.
The national team has won four of the seven matches played in the UAE.
It should be remembered that Pakistan had to face defeat against India in the first match of the Super Four stage.
The Pakistan team will play its third match against Bangladesh on September 25. The top two teams in the Super Four stage will play the final on September 28.
