South Punjab has been destroyed

South Punjab has borne the entire burden of the river water. The Saraiki region has been destroyed from the face of the earth. Who knows how these settlements, these villages, these cities and towns will be inhabited again. Where education, health and basic necessities of life were already poor. Where poverty has spread its wings. Where people search for means to survive day and night. There the river has swallowed all the means.
Allah Almighty has advised us to seek refuge from poverty, but in this short life of mine, I have been seeing the poor from destitute to destitute.
For the past 78 years, or so to speak, since the establishment of Pakistan, all those areas of South Pakistan that could have become the best cities in so many years have been destroyed. All our leaders have insisted on declaring flood-prone areas only to distribute funds and the rich people to eat these funds. This criterion has been made a vote. This 2025 will open the eyes and doors of thought of all these people of South Punjab. How can these speechless people (speechless because if you do a survey, 60% of people cannot even speak their national language, Aru) and their Saraiki language not be understood by the authorities.
That is why an interpreter is describing their sorrow in their own language, Urdu, either a government advisor or a political representative. (Then who knows what the language is and what the expression of sorrow is?)
China raised its poor nation in such a way that every person of it flourished. All the civilized nations of the world work for the betterment of their poor people. They make their capital by improving their lives. We are the only ones who have not been able to complete the picture. Neither any industry nor any government facilities nor roads nor any parks for innocent children like flowers. Nor any facilities in cities and villages.
The budgets of the giants are made in such a way that it seems that they are investing so much capital that even Gog and Magog could fill their stomachs, but if we examine the facts, it is a desert or the thirst of Karbala. This flood has made everything clear on the eve of water. Do they do town planning? Do they prepare for emergencies? Do they work on a humanitarian basis for humans? Are they striving for the development of the Pakistani nation and its future generations? Everything is covered in ashes or sand. No political party has given anything to the southern Punjab region. Administrative reforms. When awareness comes without basic needs,
ignorance is happy. When accidents happen in life without basic arrangements, such is the misery that is seen in this 2025 budget.
My respected Prime Minister and my respected Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, this time with this leadership, the old system of the past in which people were made beggars in the name of aid. End it. Adopt a strong plan of action so that if God forbid such tests come, the villages do not disappear from the face of the earth. Establish emergency facilities in every city according to the population. Today, there are no boats for people to go to a safe place. Hundreds of lives have been sacrificed and are being lost. Hunger, poverty and pain are all gathered in one place due to the lack of a basic need. These ruined areas, this dilapidated infrastructure, my heart says that if you pay special attention, they can be repopulated on an emergency basis. Just as our Pak Army comes to the aid of everyone without discrimination and brings them out of bad times. With such a strong thought, let the dilapidated South Punjab beautify under your political leadership. Let history remember that the deprived were redressed. Let the enemy’s evil plan beautify the deprived region of South Punjab with your wisdom and foresight.
