A horrific accident in the Saudi city of Jazan has left citizens, especially students, in mourning.
According to Arab media, the accident occurred on a busy highway when a vehicle carrying four female teachers to school crashed.
The accident was so horrific that the vehicle’s wings were blown off and all four people on board died on the spot.
The cause of the accident has not yet been determined. The relevant agencies have launched an investigation. The four bodies have been handed over to their families.
The Saudi Ministry of Education described the tragedy as a heartbreaking loss for the teaching community and expressed its condolences to the families of the victims.
A large number of students attended the funeral prayers of the female teachers. Heartbreaking scenes were witnessed on the occasion.
