KARACHI: Actress Sana Javed’s recent Instagram story has set social media abuzz amid persistent rumors about her alleged separation from former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik.
The speculation began after reports of tension between the couple circulated online, but Shoaib Malik dismissed the claims, calling them “baseless.” He said his married life was going “remarkably great and pleasant,” adding, “My son is in Dubai, my mother lives in Sialkot, and I am based in Karachi due to professional commitments. There is no truth in such news.”
Malik’s response quickly spread across local and Indian media outlets, fueling even more discussion on social platforms.
Following his statement, Sana Javed shared an Instagram story featuring a message asking for the couple to be protected from the evil eye. She captioned it, “Ameen Suma Ameen,” which many fans interpreted as a subtle endorsement of Malik’s words and a gesture to silence rumors.
Sana Javed and Shoaib Malik tied the knot in January 2024 and announced their marriage through a joint Instagram post on January 20, writing “Alhumdulilah” alongside a Quranic verse and wedding photos.
Earlier this month, the former cricketer had also responded indirectly to the swirling divorce rumors, stressing that his relationship with Sana remained strong despite misleading online speculation.
