TikToker Samiya Hijab has leveled serious allegations against her former fiancé, Hassan Zahid, claiming he pressured her into a secret marriage, stalked her, and later tried to kidnap her after she called off their engagement.
Speaking to a private TV channel, Hijab said she initially accepted Zahid’s proposal after seeing his “good side,” but their relationship soured when he forced her to sign Nikah papers, showed abusive behavior, and was later linked to a multi-million-rupee fraud case. She returned his engagement ring and ended the relationship.
Hijab alleged that Zahid responded with death and acid attack threats, followed her everywhere, and eventually attempted to abduct her outside her Islamabad home. CCTV footage of the incident shows Zahid snatching her phone and shoving her into a car.
Police arrested Zahid within 24 hours of her complaint and obtained his physical remand, later extended for three days. Hijab said she still fears for her safety, quoting Zahid as threatening to lock her in a basement “where no one would ever find her.”
