KARACHI – The sudden death of Umer Shah, younger brother of social media star Ahmad Shah, has left fans in deep shock.
Renowned anchor Wasim Badami, a close friend of the Shah family, revealed that Umer passed away around Fajr on Monday. According to doctors, he suffered cardiac arrest after vomit entered his lungs, blocking his airways and cutting off oxygen supply.
“This is an unbearable loss. Please keep Ahmad Shah and his family in your prayers,” an emotional Badami said in a video message.
Medical experts identify the condition as aspiration, where stomach contents enter the lungs and obstruct breathing, which can quickly become fatal if untreated.
Confirming the tragedy on social media, Ahmad Shah’s family wrote:
“Our little shining star, Umer Shah, has returned to Allah Almighty. We request everyone to remember him and our family in your prayers.”
The news has triggered a wave of condolences from across Pakistan and abroad, as fans mourn the loss of the young boy.
