KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced Monday, October 20, 2025 as a public holiday exclusively for the Hindu community across the province in recognition of Diwali.
The holiday applies to all provincial offices, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under Sindh’s administrative control.
The official notification, signed by Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah, has been circulated to senior officials including the Accountant General, the Inspector General of Police, and district commissioners for implementation.
