SHARJAH: The Pakistan Business Council (PBC) Sharjah has recently launched an initiative aimed at strengthening ties among its members and exploring new avenues for collaboration. As part of this campaign, the council’s leadership team conducted visits to several Pakistani-owned business setups in the region.
In the latest phase of this initiative, the council’s directors — including Chairman Dr. S.M. Tahir, Syed Saleem Akhtar, Amir Hassan, Salman Wisal, Safdar Rashid, and Executive Member Dr. Noor Al Sabah — visited the headquarters and operational sites of key member companies. These visits provided opportunities to engage directly with business owners, understand their operational challenges, and identify avenues for future support and growth.
The delegation’s first stop was at Safetex Group of Companies, where they appreciated the company’s significant contributions to Pakistan’s textile export sector. Discussions focused on expanding trade relations and exploring new business opportunities between Pakistan and the UAE.
Next, the team visited Expert Plus, a reputable audit firm providing services such as bookkeeping, accountancy, and taxation to a diverse range of clients. The visit emphasized the importance of professional financial management and compliance, with conversations centered around how Expert Plus supports businesses in maintaining transparency and adhering to regulatory standards.
The group also toured Vista Maritime Travel & Tourism, a leading travel and tourism agency specializing in inbound and outbound travel services. Discussions revolved around promoting tourism exchanges and strengthening cultural and business links between Pakistan and the UAE.
Commenting on the visits, Chairman Dr. S.M. Tahir stated, “These visits are vital for understanding our members’ needs, developing closer relationships, and discovering new opportunities for growth. Our goal is to support and empower Pakistani entrepreneurs and contribute to their ongoing success.”
The campaign will continue with plans to visit more member companies across various sectors, reaffirming the Pakistan Business Council Sharjah’s commitment to the development and sustainability of Pakistani businesses in the UAE.
