The Pakistan Army on Sunday destroyed the Afghan Taliban’s Asmatullah Karar camp in Spin Boldak, Kandahar Province, near the Chaman border, security sources confirmed. The facility was considered one of the Taliban’s largest operational bases, reportedly used to coordinate anti-Pakistan attacks.

According to officials, the compound was hit in a second precision strike as part of Pakistan’s ongoing retaliatory operations. Footage circulating online shows the camp completely reduced to rubble following the targeted assault.

Security sources reported heavy casualties among Afghan Taliban and Khawarij militants who were inside the camp during the strike. The operation marks another significant success for Pakistan’s military amid rising tensions and continued cross-border provocations from Afghan territory.

The Pakistan Army also conducted a series of retaliatory operations across the border, destroying multiple Taliban positions and taking control of at least nineteen posts. These strikes were carried out in response to unprovoked aggression from Afghan forces.

Videos released by state media, including PTV News and Radio Pakistan, showed several Taliban outposts being hit with precision. The footage, widely shared on social platforms, captured the intensity and accuracy of Pakistan’s military response.

Security sources further stated that Pakistani forces successfully neutralized Taliban positions in Doran Mela, Turkmanzai, and Kharlachi in Kurram District, as well as in Leoband of Killa Abdullah and Kunar Province opposite Bajaur. The strikes inflicted heavy losses on the Taliban and affiliated Khawarij elements operating along the border.
