MQM still believes it controls Karachi: Wahab

Mayor Murtaza Wahab said on Sunday that the MQM still believes it controls Karachi, which is perhaps why the city continues to bear the effects of their era’s mismanagement.

He added that farmers in Punjab are currently facing difficulties, and instead of indulging in criticism, the provincial government there should focus on resolving public issues. “God’s curse is upon liars. No one has given us Rs300 billion — whoever makes such allegations should provide evidence,” he remarked.

He said that opponents are quick to criticize but fail to take any practical steps themselves. “They even take our projects to court, but we remain steadfast in our mission to serve the people.”

He expressed these views while speaking to media representatives after inaugurating Pakistan’s largest and most modern trampoline park at Safari Park.
