The Department of Mass Communication, University of Karachi, on Wednesday signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Orange Tree Foundation to provide merit-cum-need-based scholarships to morning and evening students enrolled in the Mass Communication and Digital Media Marketing programmes.
The MoU reflects a shared commitment to strengthen higher education opportunities and invest in the next generation of journalists, media professionals, and digital storytellers. The ceremony, presided over by the VC Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi, was attended by Omer Allahwala, CEO of Orange Tree Foundation, Dr Hoor-ul-Ain, Director of ORIC, Dr Samina Saeed dean Faculty of Arts and members of the department.
