Majlis-e-Tarheem held for the Esal-e-Sawab of Munawar Naqvi

ISLAMABAD: A solemn condolence gathering (Majlis-e-Tarheem) was held on Thursday at Ali Masjid, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, for the Esal-e-Sawab of Syed Munawar Hussain Naqvi, the late brother of Syed Manzar Naqvi, Secretary General of the Karachi Editors Club and Executive Editor of The Financial Daily International.
The gathering was attended by a large number of family members, friends, colleagues, and admirers of the late Syed Munawar Hussain Naqvi, as well as notables from various walks of life, who came together to pay their respects and offer prayers for the departed soul.
The Majlis-e-Tarheem was addressed by renowned religious scholar Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, who highlighted the importance of remembering the deceased through prayers and acts of charity. He urged the participants to uphold the values of compassion, patience, and service to humanity as the best way to honor the memory of those who have passed away.
Syed Raza Kazmi and other reciters performed Soz-o-Salaam with great devotion, creating an atmosphere of spiritual solemnity. The moving recitations added to the collective expression of grief and reverence at the occasion.
Prominent personalities from the fields of journalism, literature, business, and social services were present, reflecting the deep respect and affection held for the Naqvi family. The participants offered Fateha and prayed for the elevation of the departed soul, expressing their heartfelt condolences to Syed Manzar Naqvi and his family.
The gathering concluded with prayers for the forgiveness of the deceased, as well as for strength and patience for the bereaved family.
