HYDERABAD: A HESCO lineman was seriously injured after receiving an electric shock while repairing a power line in Latifabad Unit 6, Hyderabad.
The worker, identified as Imran from Shaheed Umeed Ali Subdivision, fell from a pole when a sudden backflow of current struck him. He sustained fractures in his ribs and hip and was shifted to Civil Hospital, where doctors confirmed that he had survived the incident.
