CCD Police has asked CCPO Lahore to investigate the Amir Balaj murder case.
According to sources, Additional IG CCD Sohail Zafar Chatha has requested an investigation into the Balaj murder case through a formal letter. The Amir Balaj murder case is currently being investigated by a JIT formed by Lahore Police.
Tefi Butt and Aqeel Butt alias Gogi Butt are the named accused in the Amir Balaj murder case. Aqeel Butt alias Gogi Butt is on bail from the court. Tefi Butt was arrested by Lahore Police last night through Interpol.
Sources said that the JIT team will investigate the Amir Balaj case from Gogi Butt. Khawaja Tareef alias Tefi Butt was a declared accused in the Amir Balaj murder.
