Under the guise of anti-refugee protests in Britain, extremists desecrated mosques and subjected Muslims to violence.

According to the International News Agency, red crosses and anti-Islam slogans were written on the walls of the South Essex Islamic Centre in Basildon, Essex, the night before Friday prayers.

This is not the first incident that has occurred in recent days. Several incidents have occurred during the ongoing protests in favor of expanding the operation against refugees.

During which there were several incidents of harassment of Muslim women and families, shouting racist slogans and drawing red cross signs on houses.

These incidents have come to light at a time when church flags and Union Jacks are being erected in various places across the country.

Human rights organizations have warned that the campaign is fueling racism and Islamophobia.

The local council head and religious leaders condemned the act in the strongest terms, calling it cowardly, criminal and shameful, and called on the government to take action.

The Muslim Council of Britain said the English flag was being used to promote hatred and racism, reminiscent of the Nazi era.

Local church leaders also called the use of Christian symbols as a justification for racism wrong and dangerous.
