Interior Minister meets Saudi Ambassador; agrees to further strengthen relations between the two countries

Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Saudi Arabian Embassy in the Diplomatic Enclave where he was welcomed by Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Maliki.

On this occasion, an important meeting was held between the two leaders in which matters of mutual interest including Pak-Saudi relations were discussed.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have stood the test of time. He thanked the Saudi government and the ambassador for the sincere, brotherly and effective role of Saudi Arabia in the Pakistan-India tension and said that whether it is war or peace, Saudi Arabia has always supported Pakistan fully.

Mohsin Naqvi further said that a strict crackdown is underway against the mafia who go to Saudi Arabia and beg and a zero-tolerance policy has been adopted in this regard.

Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Maliki said on the occasion that Pakistan is our brotherly and friendly country and Saudi Arabia attaches special importance to relations with Pakistan.
