Member National Assembly (MNA) Mir Ghulam Ali Talpur delivered a scathing rebuke to government officials during a meeting on the “Rural Growth Centre” project under the PAIDAR (Poverty Alleviation and Inclusive Development in Rural Sindh) programme, held in the district committee room.
“I will break your legs,” he said warning Public Health Department Executive Engineer Salahuddin Kolachi over the department’s poor performance.
The session aimed to review ongoing initiatives and future strategies for improving the socio-economic conditions of rural communities in Badin.
During the proceedings, MNA Talpur demanded detailed reports from Executive Engineer of the Public Health Department Salahuddin Kolachi regarding ongoing schemes. The engineer failed to provide satisfactory answers. Speaking sternly, Talpur said, “This is Badin-whose authority do you serve, and under whose NOC were you appointed? If you continue to act beyond planning protocols, I will break your legs.”
He directed the DC to suspend all projects under Public Health’s supervision and immediately issue an official letter to that effect.
