KARACHI: All districts of Karachi have a high refusal rate, as revealed in the first day’s (15 September) MIS report. Only 57 % eligible girls were vaccinated in Sindh. Karachi West Dist. 49%, Malir District has 39%, Dist. Korangi has 37%, Karachi Dist. South has 35%, Karachi Dist. East has 30%, Karachi Dist. Kemari and Dist. Central has 11% reported coverage.
Director of Health Services Karachi, Dr Saqib Sheikh, said that it’s the beginning, and it’s a difficult challenge, happening for the first time.
