A footballer who traveled to Norway to participate in the Norway Cup Street Football Championship has gone missing in Oslo. Amanullah Rauf Baloch, a member of the Islamabad Street Children Team, reportedly disappeared on the very first day after arriving in Norway.

Sources say Amanullah Baloch, who hails from Lyari, was reported missing to the local police in Oslo. The Pakistani Embassy in Norway has also been informed, along with relevant authorities in Pakistan.

It is being reported that the missing footballer did not participate in the Under-15 Boys event. The Islamabad team had traveled under the internationally known welfare organisation Muslim Hands. Last year, Amanullah had played for a local Norwegian team in the same tournament.

This year, three teams from Pakistan participated in the Norway Cup, while another team-backed by a special grant of Rs18.4 million from the Sindh government-could not take part due to delays. Lyari’s Better Future Pakistan Football Club won the Boys U-15 title at the Norway Cup 2025. Their girls’ team also competed in the U-14 category up to the A-level round. Islamabad’s Street Children Team reached the pre-quarterfinals in the Boys U-17 category.
