In a groundbreaking move to advance artificial intelligence in Pakistan and position the country at the forefront of the global AI revolution, Innovista has announced the launch of the nation’s first-ever National Agentic AI Hackathon 2025. The initiative is being organized in collaboration with the Pakistan Freelancers Association, Google, and Systems Limited.

The hackathon aims to harness cutting-edge AI technologies to address Pakistan’s most pressing economic, social, and environmental challenges. Google will serve as the official technology partner, providing Pakistani developers access to advanced AI tools through the Google Cloud Platform. This partnership is expected to empower local talent with world-class resources and mentorship, fostering long-term growth in the country’s tech ecosystem.

The event will be held across six major cities-Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Bahawalpur-with participation from over 1,000 developers.

Special emphasis is being placed on encouraging female participation. Selected teams will receive training from industry experts before competing in regional rounds, culminating in a final showdown in Islamabad.

Key focus areas of the hackathon include agricultural technology, fintech, climate change and disaster management, digital inclusion, and public health.
