Evening degree for nursing faculty planned

Around 90 nursing instructors from affiliated colleges participated in a workshop on mastering life-saving skills at the University of Health Sciences (UHS) on Tuesday,

UHS Vice Chancellor Professor Ahsan Waheed Rathore announced on the occasion that the university would soon launch an evening Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) programme exclusively for faculty.

He said top position holders in the MSN programme would be awarded a three-month placement in foreign universities during their final semester.

Meanwhile, online auction of three contracts of the Mayo Hospital has been completed.

According to a statement, an integrated system has been developed to ensure transparency in the contracts of parking, canteens and cafeterias of government hospitals.

The auction process of the contracts of the emergency department cafeteria, doctors cafe and children’s ward canteen was completed.

As per the announcement, the online auction generated three-fold revenue as compared to the past.
