JHELUM: Religious scholar Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza was taken into custody by Jhelum police under Section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO), Express News reported.
Police officials said Mirza was arrested from his Jhelum Academy and later shifted to jail. Sources noted that the action followed a petition submitted by several religious groups.
