Tesla owner Elon Musk has become the first person in the world to have a net worth of $500 billion.
Elon Musk has been ranked first in Forbes’ Real-Time Billionaires list, followed by Oracle’s Larry Ellison, Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos.
Elon Musk’s net worth was $499.1 billion as of the close of trading on Wednesday. He had touched the $500 billion mark earlier in the day.
On September 10 last month, Oracle’s stock price rose because Larry Ellison briefly overtook Elon Musk. However, that did not last.
Tesla’s share price rose in mid-September when Elon Musk made an investment of nearly $1 billion (the largest ever) through a trust. As a result, Tesla’s share price rose by $30 in a single day on the NASDAQ market.
