Six more patients under treatment died today after drinking toxic alcohol in Russia.
According to the international news agency, this incident occurred a few days ago and initially the death toll was more than a dozen.
However, after this, more people under treatment continued to die and today, after the death of six people, the number has reached 25.
It should be noted that mass deaths due to drinking cheap and toxic alcohol are not uncommon in Russia.
The investigative committee said that the presence of lethal amounts of methanol was found in the blood samples of the deceased.
The inquiry report said that despite the ban on the unsafe manufacture and sale of cheap alcohol, such incidents are a matter of concern.
The committee also questioned the performance of the police, saying that several incidents of negligence and carelessness have come to light.
