KARACHI: Unidentified gunmen shot and killed a cloth merchant in Orangi Town on Monday. The victim, identified as 44-year-old Muhammad Naeem, was returning home after dropping his son at school when the assailants opened fire on him.

Police have confirmed that the killing was likely the result of personal enmity, as no attempt was made to rob the victim. His mobile phone, ID card, and motorcycle were found untouched.

The incident occurred at around 7:45 AM when Naeem was passing by Shadab Ground. He was hit by four bullets, leading to his immediate death. The police have collected CCTV footage, which shows the assailants on a motorcycle targeting Naeem.

The victim, a father of three, was a resident of Sector 6-L, Banarsi Market, Orangi Town. Police have begun investigating the case further.
