Pakistani actress Ayeza Khan, one of the most followed celebrities in the country with 14.7 million Instagram followers, is under fire for allegedly replicating Indian designer outfits. Known for her hit dramas Mere Paas Tum Ho, Pyarey Afzal, Mohabbat Tumse Nafrat Hai, Chupke Chupke, and Chaudhry and Sons, Ayeza has long been admired both for her acting and her fashion choices. She is married to actor Danish Taimoor, and the two are often celebrated as one of Pakistan’s most beloved celebrity couples.
The controversy emerged during her brother’s wedding festivities, where Ayeza’s styling drew public attention. At one of the events, she wore a hot pink chunri outfit featuring a short shirt and alladin shalwar. The design was quickly identified as a replica of an ensemble from Indian label Pink City by Sarika, which later confirmed that the look had been copied from their collection.
This is not the first time Ayeza has faced such accusations. In 2021, she was also called out for wearing a hot pink chunri Anarkali suit identical to a design from the same brand. Pink City by Sarika even reshared a post highlighting the duplication. More recently, her Mehndi look was also linked to Indian designer Eshal Koul, further fueling criticism of her repeated borrowing from Indian fashion labels.
