Bollywood’s leading actors Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan will be seen together on the big screen again after 18 years.
According to Indian media, the two stars have started shooting for director Priyadarshan’s new film, Beast, the production of which has begun in the state of Kerala.
Akshay Kumar shared a video from the set in which he was seen in a cheerful manner with the director and Saif Ali Khan. In the video, he was seen with a T-shirt and a clipboard with the word “Buzurg” written on it, on which Priyadarshan joked that it should have been written Beast.
On this, Akshay Kumar laughed and said that Saif Ali Khan will be the “devil” of this film, sometimes the devil that everyone knows and sometimes the one that no one knows.
Akshay Kumar further said that we all have some devil inside us, some are elders on the outside and some are beasts on the inside. He also said that it is a pleasure for him to work with Saif Ali Khan again after almost 18 years.
It may be recalled that the two actors worked together in the 2008 film Tishan. Beast is actually a Hindi remake of Priyadarshan’s popular 2016 Malayalam thriller Oppam, which also stars Kajol, Bobby Deol and Einar Haraldsson in important roles. The film is scheduled to release in 2026.
