A solemn ceremony to mark Independence Day and the Struggle for Justice continues in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A grand ceremony is underway at Jinnah Ground in Islamabad to mark Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day and victory in the War of Independence, in which the President, Prime Minister and Field Marshal, along with top civil and military leaders, are participating.

According to President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir are present as special guests at the ceremony, along with top military leaders, federal ministers, ambassadors of friendly countries, members of the assembly and others.
