PM Shehbaz directs officials to adopt technology-driven Chinese model in hospitals

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday directed the officials to adopt the technology-driven Chinese model in healthcare facilities across Pakistan.

He expressed these views during his visit to Anzhen Hospital in Beijing.

The prime minister reviewed available facilities at the hospital and lauded the Chinese experts for developing the advanced health sector.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the hospital administration for the efficient system, modern technology and excellent services.

The prime minister directed Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and the Ministry of Health to ensure the development of simple, robust and sustainable infrastructure similar to Anzhen Hospital in the under-construction projects in Islamabad and particularly at Jinnah Medical Complex and other hospitals.

Shehbaz Sharif emphasised prioritising the provision of quality facilities at hospitals under construction in Pakistan following the model of Chinese healthcare standards.

During the visit, the prime minister was briefed on the facilities available at the Anzhen Hospital.

He was also shown the health facilities available at the hospital, as well as the modern technologies and robots being used for effective hospital management.
