CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif Visits Jhang Flood Relief Camp, Reviews Rescue Efforts

Lahore, 01 September 2025: Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, visited a field hospital near the Jhang flood relief camp today to assess the availability of medicines and treatment facilities for flood-affected people.

During her visit, the CM closely reviewed the measures taken by the district administration for rescue and relief operations. She also conducted a detailed inspection of the protective embankment near Jhang city to evaluate flood prevention measures.

A large number of residents gathered to welcome the Chief Minister. During the visit, she showed compassion for a little girl affected by the floods, and an elderly woman held her hand, praying for her well-being, highlighting the emotional connection between the public and the provincial leadership.

CM Maryam Nawaz emphasized the importance of swift rescue operations and adequate medical support to alleviate the suffering of flood victims and assured continued government support during this challenging time.
