Deputy Prime Minister meets Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh, expresses best wishes for health and safety

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar met with Dr. Shafiqur-ur-Rehman, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh, during his visit to Bangladesh.

The meeting took place at Dr. Shafiqur-ur-Rehman’s residence, where he is recuperating after a recent heart surgery.

On this occasion, Senator Ishaq Dar expressed his best wishes for the health and safety of the Prime Minister of Pakistan and Dr. Shafiqur-ur-Rehman on his behalf.

He appreciated Dr. Shafiqur-ur-Rehman’s positive services in the fields of politics, education and social welfare.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Syed Abdullah Muhammad Tahir, Deputy Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh, and other leaders.
