PCB meeting approves reappointment of auditors for current financial year

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Board of Governors meeting approved the reappointment of auditors for the current financial year.

According to details, the 80th meeting of the PCB Board of Governors was held in Lahore under the chairmanship of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.

The meeting considered improving the quality of Pakistani cricket and the team’s performance in international cricket.

A briefing was given on measures at the grassroots level to promote women’s cricket, including domestic cricket and bringing forward young talent.

The meeting was also briefed on the upgradation of high-performance centers.

The meeting approved the PCB’s updated financial rules, reappointment of auditors for the current financial year and procedural changes to adopt the Global Anti-Corruption Code.

The meeting ratified the decisions of the 78th and 79th meetings of the BOG, including approval of changes in the procedure for scrutiny of clubs.

The meeting was attended by Board of Governors members Anwar Ghani, Zaheer Abbas, Sajjad Ali Khokhar, Zafarullah, Tanveer Ahmed, Muhammad Ismail Qureshi, Tariq Sarwar and others.

PCB Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed, PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer, Chief Financial Officer, Directors of International Cricket, Media and Communication, Domestic Cricket, Human Resources, High Performance Centres, Head of Women’s Cricket and officials of the Legal Department also attended the meeting.
