Karachi: Dense clouds once again covered various areas of the Quaid-e-Azam city, due to which light rain started.

Deep clouds covered Gulshan-e-Maymar, Ahsanabad and Orangi Town, due to which the weather became pleasant due to the winds.

The Meteorological Department had predicted heavy rain with thunder and gale force winds in Karachi again from this afternoon.

According to Meteorological Department spokesperson Anjum Nazir Zeigham, there may be more heavy rain across the city today than yesterday, resulting in the possibility of urban flooding.

According to the spokesperson, another monsoon series will affect Karachi and rural Sindh on August 27.

Chief Meteorologist Karachi Ameer Haider Leghari said that there is also a circulation of winds around the rain system, so stronger winds may blow in Karachi than usual during rain.

Amir Haider Leghari said that the monsoon system will start weakening from tonight, and it is likely that the rain system will gradually weaken and end on Friday morning.

According to the Chief Meteorologist, the weather in the city will be completely cloudy on Friday and Saturday, while it may be partly cloudy on Sunday and Monday. Due to the effects of the monsoon system, the weather is expected to remain moderate for the next few days.

It should be noted that heavy rain in different areas of the city yesterday disrupted life.

Talking about the temperature, today the minimum temperature was 28 degrees Celsius, while the maximum is likely to go up to 31 degrees Celsius, but the intensity of the fog and humidity is causing great anxiety to the people.
