Rain, Thunderstorms Expected in Northern Pakistan and Kashmir Today

ISLAMABAD – July 30, 2025: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast rain-wind/thundershowers across Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper and central Punjab, Islamabad, northeast Balochistan, and Gilgit-Baltistan over the next 12 hours.

Meanwhile, southern regions of the country are expected to remain hot and humid throughout the day.

Temperatures in Major Cities (Morning):

  • Islamabad, Quetta, Muzaffarabad: 24°C

  • Lahore, Karachi: 29°C

  • Peshawar: 27°C

  • Gilgit: 25°C

  • Murree: 17°C

Weather in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir:

Partly cloudy skies with chances of rain, wind, and thunderstorms are expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla.

  • Srinagar: 20°C

  • Jammu: 27°C

  • Leh: 11°C

  • Pulwama, Shopian: 18°C

  • Anantnag, Baramula: 19°C

Citizens in affected areas are advised to stay alert for possible heavy showers, wind gusts, and travel disruptions.
