Whether it’s preparing for an upcoming client meeting by reviewing calendar events or organizing a Japanese breakfast for four—including sourcing ingredients online—ChatGPT now offers a deeper level of automation and productivity.
This capability is made possible by integrating two of OpenAI’s most advanced technologies: Operator, which allows real-time internet browsing, and Deep Research, which enables thorough online content analysis to deliver detailed, reliable information.
Currently, the Agent Mode is available exclusively to Pro, Plus, and Team-tier users, but it showcases OpenAI’s ambition to lead the evolving landscape of personal AI assistants. Industry analysts believe this feature could give ChatGPT a strong competitive advantage over rivals like Google Gemini and Apple Siri.
Despite its promise, OpenAI acknowledges the system’s current limitations.
