Pakistan and Turkiye have once again united in their call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and urgent humanitarian assistance for its suffering population. In a telephone conversation, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan expressed deep concern over the worsening humanitarian crisis and emphasized the need for swift international action to restore peace.

Both leaders strongly condemned Israel’s continued military operations, citing widespread hunger, mass displacement, and the deaths of innocent civilians. They stressed that unhindered access to humanitarian aid—including food, medical supplies, and essential relief—must be guaranteed for the people of Gaza.

Reaffirming their countries’ unwavering support for the Palestinian right to freedom and statehood, Dar and Fidan reiterated that the only path to lasting peace in the region lies in a two-state solution. Dar emphasized Pakistan’s long-standing position that Palestine should be a sovereign and independent state, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem) as its capital, based on pre-1967 borders.

Their conversation takes place ahead of a United Nations-led peace conference aimed at resolving the conflict and coordinating global efforts to support affected civilians.

Pakistan and Turkiye pledged to continue raising a united voice on the international stage in support of the Palestinian cause. They urged the global community to come together to protect innocent lives and bring an end to the crisis in Gaza without delay.
