ISLAMABAD: The Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Ain-e-Pakistan (TTAP) convened a high-level summit in the federal capital on Sunday, gathering prominent political figures and civil society representatives to deliberate on the protection of the Constitution and democratic values.

The meeting, hosted at Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar’s farmhouse in Islamabad, brought together a diverse mix of leaders from across the political spectrum. Among those in attendance were Salman Akram Raja and Muhammad Zubair Umar representing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Also participating were Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, Vice Chairman of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen, and Sajid Tareen of the Balochistan National Party. Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Vice Chairman of the Movement for the Protection of the Constitution of Pakistan, chaired the discussions.

Zain Shah of the Sindh United Party, Ali Asghar Khan, Secretary General of PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Hussain Ahmed Yousafzai, spokesperson of the Movement for the Protection of the Constitution of Pakistan, were also present.

Other notable attendees included Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry and Asad Abbas Naqvi, Secretary of Political Affairs of the Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen.

According to sources, the participants are expected to discuss evolving political developments, constitutional guarantees, and a possible framework for coordinated opposition activity. The dialogue aims to strengthen consensus on protecting democratic institutions and ensuring adherence to constitutional norms.

The summit marks one of the first multi-party engagements under the TTAP umbrella, reflecting growing efforts to build political convergence amid ongoing national challenges.
