Two players dropped from Pakistan squad for Test series against South Africa

Karachi: It has been decided to drop left-arm spinner Faisal Akram and pacer Amir Jamal from the Pakistani Test squad.

The squad will now consist of 16 players, the selected players include captain Shan Masood, Abdullah Shafiq, Abrar Ahmed, Asif Afridi, Babar Azam, Hassan Ali, Imam-ul-Haq, Kamran Ghulam.

Khurram Shahzad, Muhammad Rizwan, Noman Ali, Rohail Nazir, Sajid Khan, Salman Ali Agha, Saud Shakeel and Shaheen Afridi will also be part of the squad.

The first Test of the two-match series between Pakistan and South Africa will begin on Sunday at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
