An amazing story behind the old wedding of Indian cricket star Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma has now come to light.

The entire arrangements for their 2017 wedding in Italy were ruined by heavy rain the night before, after which the management team had to change the venue overnight.

Wedding videographer Vishal Punjabi revealed in a recent interview that “the entire mandap prepared the day before the wedding was destroyed in the rain. Wedding planner Devika Narayan worked up the whole night and she herself shifted the entire setup to another location overnight.”

According to Vishal, despite this disturbing situation, Virat and Anushka remained completely calm, as they had complete trust in their wedding planners. Interestingly, the couple had not even seen the mandap before the wedding, which shows the trust they had in their organizers.

The videographer said, “When I reached there on the wedding day, Virat and Anushka neither knew me nor my work. But they welcomed me warmly and said: ‘We don’t know what you do, but if you are here, then you must have done a good job’.”

Describing the experience as memorable, Vishal Punjabi said, “It was a small private ceremony, but both of them are naturally very nice and lovely people. They trusted everyone and gave us complete freedom.”

These revelations reflect how Virat and Anushka relied on professional help in their wedding arrangements, and remained calm even in difficult situations. Their wedding is still fresh in the hearts of their fans.
