All Pakistanis are united under the national flag – that is our greatest strength, “Pakistan Zindabad” is the slogan of every Pakistani, said Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) delegation on its participation in the Dussehra celebrations at Durga Shiv Mandir in Hyderabad.

A grand celebration was held at the historic Durga Shiv Mandir in Hyderabad to mark the Annual Navaratri Festival and Dussehra.

MQM-P Deputy Parliamentary Leader in Sindh Assembly Taha Ahmed Khan led the delegation. In line with the spirit of Dussehra, which marks the victory of good over evil when Lord Rama slayed evil king Ravan, the MQM-P lawmaker said, “wherever there is a struggle between the oppressor and the oppressed, MQM Pakistan will always stand with the oppressed, and in the fight between justice and injustice, MQM Pakistan stands with justice.”

The delegation included MPA Mahesh Kumar Hasija, MQM-P Central Committee Member Ramesh Kumar, Romes Bhatti and Waqar Richard Mattoo from the MQM-P Hyderabad District Minority Affairs Committee.

The MQM Pakistan delegation engaged with temple organisers and members of the Hindu community, reaffirming the party’s unwavering commitment to religious harmony, equality, tolerance, and national unity. The leaders emphasized that MQM Pakistan believes in protecting the rights of all communities and stands as a true voice of inclusivity and justice in Pakistan.

Speaking at the event, Taha Ahmed Khan stated that “MQM Pakistan stands firmly for equality, freedom, secularism, and progressive values.” He further emphasized that every Pakistani, regardless of religion, caste, colour, or creed, is entitled to equal rights. MQM Pakistan always stands with truth and justice, and against oppression and falsehood.
